What materials are disposable napkins made of?

Recycled:
These napkins are made from 100 percent recycled raw materials. They are printed with compostable ink and can therefore be disposed of in organic waste without hesitation.

Cell cloth:
Cellulose cloth is the most classic material for disposable napkins. It is made on the basis of cellulose and is very supple, tear-resistant and low-linting. Cell wipe can be produced with different number of grams to optimize volume and absorbency.

Double-Point:
Double-Point napkins are slightly higher quality than cellulose cloth or recycled paper napkins. This is due to the manufacturing process: the individual cellulose cloth layers are glued together using micro-dots. This gives the cellulose napkins more volume, making them softer and therefore more comfortable for your guests.

Airlaid:
Airlaid is a very high quality disposable material. It has a very fabric-like feel, making it suitable for more elegant hospitality concepts. Airlaid is very absorbent and resistant - both when dry and when wet. It is also soft and very pleasant to the touch. The synthetic fiber is not biodegradable.

Spunlace Nonwoven:
The highest quality disposable napkins are made of Spunlace. This disposable non-woven fabric is made of viscose and cellulose. As a result, spunlace napkins are very soft and extremely similar to cloth napkins in both look and feel. Even when wet, spunlace napkins remain durable and do not tear. Another advantage: the napkins are elegant and environmentally friendly at the same time! After use, they can be disposed of in organic waste or composted without hesitation.
